Exploring how artificial intelligence can foster wellbeing through physical activity, at the crossroads of reinforcement learning and human motivation.
I am a Scientific Collaborator at the School of Management of Fribourg in Switzerland. My research sits at the intersection of physical activity and artificial intelligence, spanning from deep reinforcement learning model development to the psychology behind human motivation and human–computer interaction. This combination lets me bring together two long-standing passions: sports and computer science.
Outside of research, I am an avid fencer (the sport, not the garden variety) and a certified J+S (Swiss Youth & Sports program) monitor. I serve as an assistant coach at my club, helping fencers of all ages sharpen their technique and progress in the sport.
